Spy x Family Chapter 123 was different from the usual format as it was released in two parts. This chapter focused on Anya and her friends as they planned to enter these abandoned properties in the hopes of securing their future.

There was a rumour going around the school that if anyone came across a ghost in that building, then chances are they would become imperial students. So Anya, Connie, Tertius, Arnold, and Damian, with a few other classmates, decide to visit this place.

Anya was confident as she could read minds and was eager to catch a ghost. But there was a voice that she heard that kept on telling her to go away. For the first time in the story, there was an ominous vibe. As things got spookier, Anya got overwhelmed as she could hear everyone's inner thoughts.

Then came the chapter's wholesome moment, Damian took notice of this and carried her outside to safety. This was probably the bravest this character has been in the story, and the act of saving her has caused their dynamic to develop.

Finally the Chapter 123 comes to an end with an intriguing cliffhanger: rumors that Henry Henderson, one of the most respected Eden teachers, might be getting fired.

Fans are waiting to know more about the reason behind firing the one person who truly cared for the kids. Meanwhile, they are also debating if this could be related to the haunted house incident or if the creator is building towards a bigger plotline.

Why did the delay happen

Fans were expecting this series to release the chapter this week, but the Halloween illustration by the creator confirms that we will have to wait longer for Spy x Family Chapter 124. Turns out that Tatsuya Endo is taking a month's break from publication.

This news came out a while after the release of the Halloween illustration titled “Special Illustration 8.” It featured the Forger family and other main characters, and all of them are dressed in Halloween costumes. We saw Anya as a witch, Yor as a grim reaper, Loid as Frankenstein’s monster, and Damian as a vampire. And all of them are looking adorable.

When Spy x Family Chapter 124 comes back, fans are expecting the story to pick up right after the cliffhanger of Chapter 123 ended. The rumor of Mr. Henderson being fired could mean that Eden Academy is going through a massive change.

This new plot could be linked with the series's ongoing themes of integrity, morality, and deception. Another popular speculation going on in the fandom for Spy x Family Chapter 124 is related to the ghost and the voice that Anya heard. Chances are, there was no supernatural force but a person.

Additionally, fans are hoping for more development between Damian and Anya in Spy x Family Chapter 124 after their unexpectedly sweet moment in the haunted schoolhouse. The series has been carefully balancing its comedic and emotional beats, and the upcoming chapter may continue that tone while pushing the overarching narrative forward.
