Days of our Lives Daily YAPP Recap, October 28: Xander had nothing to worry about with Marlena

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

We've known since day one that Xander was the person who attacked Philip last spring, since we saw him do it. However, we still find ourselves rooting for him despite his many heinous acts, including nearly killing his own brother. That's because Xander has come a VERY long way since he first appeared in Salem more than 10 years ago, as well as since he beat Philip up this year. He is a better man now and wants to keep improving, so he asked Marlena if she would keep treating him for his anger issues, knowing what he had done to Philip. Did Xander realize who he was talking to? This is Marlena, a woman who has been possessed by the devil twice. Plus, she took a crazed serial killer on as a client and was his biggest champion for years. In fact, if it weren't for Marlena, Ben Weston would have spent the rest of his life in Bayview or behind bars. She determined that his murderous ways were a result of mental illness and put him on the right cocktail of meds to have him become a fine upstanding citizen, as well as a husband and father. Heckm Xander even shot her once at her own wedding, and she is still treating him. Xander should certainly feel he is in good hands with Marlena.
