Lucas lends a steady hand to Sami, who can't cope with the news, and they end up praying for another miracle for their son

Knowing Gabi is beside herself with grief over possibly losing Will, Stefan's sweeter side emerges, and he showers her with support

As Will's loved ones gather at his side, Rex and Sarah work feverishly to create a cure based on the findings in Dr. Rolf's diary

An antidote is crafted by Rex and Sarah, but Will's loved ones remain on edge as the drug is administered

Though Will is given the remedy, his life hangs in the balance as he flatlines due to his deadly disease

Will begins to walk into the white light, but his beloved great-grandmother Caroline convinces him it's not his time to finish the journey

After seeing Caroline, Will miraculously rebounds and eventually shares his story of seeing Caroline after flatlining

Marlena and Sami attempt to convince Will that he must have been dreaming, as Caroline is alive and well, or so they think...

Roman lends his special brand of advice to Hope as she bares her heart to him, and, later, Roman receives a call about Caroline

Roman is heartbroken when he's informed that Caroline has died, and he must muster the strength to share the news with his sister Kayla

A saddened Sami takes the news to heart and must break it to Will, who was convinced he saw Caroline earlier

As Sami and Will mourn together, one by one, the rest of the Brady family learns the news of Caroline's passing

Knowing the deep connection that her mother had with Victor, Kayla takes it upon herself to tell him the devastating news

One of Caroline's great loves and father to Bo, a shaken Victor reflects on his complicated past with Caroline

Kayla urges Victor to join Caroline's loved ones as they say goodbye, and, later, Hope has a heartfelt moment with Victor as he mourns

Brady family members from far and wide gather together to say a final farewell to their beloved matriarch, Caroline

After the burial, Caroline's loved ones join together at the pub to share stories and toasts to celebrate her life

Still, some secrets may not have been taken to the grave, and Claire's secrets are set to explode soon...

Tripp is aghast when Ciara explains that Claire was responsible for the two cabin fires that nearly cost both their lives

Ciara goes on to tell Tripp of her plan with Ben, and they both must pretend to have turned against him to lure Claire into a confession

Ciara and Tripp set off to trap Claire, but when he later breaks up with her, all hell may break lose in a deadly way

Eve's concerns about Claire's sanity continue to grow, but she finds herself between a rock and hard place

Realizing she was in a bad place, Lani hopes to reconcile with Eli while Sami tells Eric he's better off without Nicole
