The original concept has since then expanded to include some non-Iberian American bands, including artists from the US and elsewhere.Previous performers at the festival include Café Tacuba and Aterciopelados, as well as some acts that are returning for the upcoming edition, including Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, Los Amigos Invisibles, and more. Its counterparts include festivals such as Corona Capital, Bahidora, Ceremonia, and more. Corona Capital was also founded by Grupo CIE (OCESA) and is still run by it.Vive Latino has a tradition of being inclusive of diverse music genres, instead of being limited to a set of them. The festival has featured performances by metal, rock, reggae, disco, jazz, acid, and hip-hop in its past editions.
