CMAT extends 2026 Australian tour: New date, venue, and more explored

Irish singer-songwriter CMAT has officially expanded her upcoming 2026 Australian tour after reported overwhelming demand from fans. The latest announcement confirms a second Melbourne show.

The extended tour schedule comes amid CMAT's global shows in support of her third studio album, Euro-Country, which was released earlier this year. Her 2025-26 tour schedule has been set to span North America, Europe, the UK, and now Australia.

Alongside headline slots at multiple venues, CMAT has also played notable festivals, including Glastonbury, Primavera, and Green Man. The additional Melbourne date follows Euro-Country and CMAT's nomination for the 2025 Mercury Prize.

CMAT took to her official Instagram profile to announce the upcoming 2026 AU tour, captioning:

"Australia!!! The EURO-COUNTRY tour is coming your way in January! Tickets on general sale this Monday Sep 15 at 11 am local time. head to the discord to join the artist presale!!"

Now, Live Nation has issued an official press release to announce the extension with a new Melbourne date. It read:

"Irish pop-country sensation CMAT has added a second Melbourne date to her upcoming Australian tour due to overwhelming demand. A relentless touring schedule has cemented CMAT's reputation as one of the best live performers around, 2025 highlights include Glastonbury, Green Man, Primavera, Pukkelpop, NOS Alive, and a UK run supporting Sam Fender, and demand for her shows is huge! Melbourne fans now have a second chance to catch CMAT and her Very Sexy CMAT Band when they return to Forum Melbourne on Wednesday 28 January 2026."
