Erykah Badu "Mama's Gun" 25th anniversary tour: Presale codes, dates, venues, and more explored

Erykah Badu is officially hitting the road this fall with a brand new tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her second studio album, Mama's Gun.

The newly announced run has been titled Mama's Gun '25: The Return of Automatic Slim Tour. This upcoming series of shows will see the Grammy-winning artist revisit the songs that are loved by neo-soul fans. The tour will begin on October 3, 2025, in Hollywood, CA. It will run through December 10, 2025, with stops in multiple U.S. cities, including Boston, Chicago, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and more.

The announcement follows her summer Abi & Alan Tour with producer The Alchemist to support the upcoming collaborative project. However, this new fall run is a solo run, which will celebrate the album that featured beloved tracks like "Bag Lady" and "Didn't Cha Know."

Released in November 2000, Mama's Gun was Erykah Badu's follow-up to her acclaimed 1997 debut, Baduizm. It blended jazz, funk, and soul genres. The album produced the hit single "Bag Lady," which cracked the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and earned Grammy nominations. Now, 25 years later, Badu is set to revisit this work on stage.
