GWAR 40th anniversary tour: Dates, presale, venues, & all you need to know

The GWAR 40th anniversary tour will run from May 16, 2025, to June 17, 2025, in venues across the United States. The new shows will feature special guests, Aether Realm, Toxic Holocaust, EYEHATEGOD, Tracheotomy, and Arch Enemy. The tour will be held concurrently with the band's joint tour with Static X which was previously announced.

Artist presale for these shows is currently ongoing. A Live Nation pre-sale will follow on February 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. General on-sale will follow on February 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

As mentioned above, GWAR is going on a North American tour with Static X, Dope, and A Killer's Confession titled, the 'Machines Vs. Monsters' Tour. The dates and venues for this tour are all listed below:

Aside from these shows, GWAR will also perform at the Sonic Temple Festival on May 11, 2025, and at the Welcome to Rockville Festival on May 15, 202,5 before they embark on the new anniversary tour.

GWAR are celebrating turning 40, which they did in 2024, having been formed in 1984. The band currently consists of Mike Derks, Brad Roberts, Matt Maguire, Bob Gorman, Michael Bishop, Casey Orr, and Tommy Meehan. The band released their latest album, The New Dark Ages, back in 2022.

GWAR is best known for their albums, Scumdogs of the Universe, and America Must Be Destroyed, which were released on January 8, 1990, and on March 31, 1992, respectively.
