The electronic music duo, Matmos, surprised its fans with a bunch of new updates! In a recent Instagram post uploaded on April 17, Matmos announced the release of a new single, followed by the new album, and a tour beginning on May 23! Known for using entirely metal sounds, the duo M.C. Schmidt and Drew Daniel will be releasing the new album titled Metallic Life Review on June 20. The band has already released their first song off the album, called Changing States, which is dedicated to late American composer Susan Alcorn. The song is now available on streaming platforms, including Spotify.Drew Daniel gave details about the song by adding,"We have the sounds of plucking the metallic gates around a tomb recorded in an underground crypt, the sound of cemetery gates, and the death of Susan Alcorn and the death of David Lynch occurred as we completed the album.
