Black Country, New Road 2026 Australia and New Zealand tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

British experimental-rock collective Black Country, New Road is officially set to tour Australia and New Zealand in early 2026. They will bring their third album, Forever Howlong (released April 2025), to audiences across six cities.

The Cambridge-formed band is one of the most talked-about groups in the modern UK scene. This tour announcement comes following the release of Forever Howlong in April 2025. It was the band's third studio album and their first post-Isaac Wood project. After Wood's exit from Black Country, New Road, bassist Tyler Hyde, violinist Georgia Ellery, and keyboardist May Kershaw now share vocal duties.

The new 2026 Australian and New Zealand tour is being presented by Handsome Tours.

Black Country, New Road took to their official Instagram page to share the 2026 AU/NZ tour announcement, captioning:

"We will be returning to Australia and New Zealand in February and March to play some shows across the region. Pre-sale tickets will be available at 10 am local time Wednesday 27th August to those that signed up to the band's mailing list (link in bio). General sale starts this Friday 29th August at 10 am local time. We are looking forward to being back and hope to see you there. BC,NR"

Speaking about their live shows, band member Wayne reflected in an interview:

"The Live at Bush Hall stuff was sick for playing, for performance and getting the band back on the road, and it felt like true expression of where the band was at, even if it's [not] necessarily musically cohesive or practically done on the fly, which I think has a huge amount of creative merit. But there is something really important about sitting in a room together for a year and creating something that feels cohesive and feels like a true representation of your identity at that point."

Black Country, New Road were formed in 2018 in Cambridge. Their early singles, including Athens, France, and Sunglasses, gained significant attention from fans and enthusiasts. Their debut album, For the First Time (2021), earned a Mercury Prize nomination and debuted at No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart.
