Post Animal announce 2025 tour: Dates, venues, and all we know

After nearly a decade, Post Animal is back in the spotlight! The Chicago-based psych-rock band has officially announced its 2025 headlining tour. The trek is all set to begin in November 2025 and is planned to run through December 2025 across North America.

The news comes alongside the band's announcement of a new album titled Iron. It is officially scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025. One of the band's original members, Joe Keery, majorly known for his role as Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, has participated in the upcoming album. However, Consequence reports that he will not be joining the band on tour.

Joe Keery parted ways with Post Animal in 2017. The tour announcement comes after their support slot on Joe's Djo tour, which will wrap up in June 2025. The band is expected to perform a mix of new tracks and older songs.

Post Animal took to their official Instagram handle to announce the album and tour, captioning:

"Our new album ‘Iron’ is out July 25th and lead single ‘Last Goodbye’ is out today, leading off this new Iron Age. It was a joy to make this record and to have Joe back with us to write and record it. We’ll also be touring this thing later on in the year. Headline tour presale starts April 23. Though Joe played a reportedly significant role in the making of Iron, he will not be joining the band on the road. Post Animal will headline shows independently starting in November 2025. Before that, they will wrap up their stint supporting Djo on the Back to You tour, which ends on June 25, 2025.

More on Post Animal

Post Animal's new album, Iron, features all six original members: Dalton Allison, Jake Hirshland, Javier Reyes, Wesley Toledo, Matt Williams, and Joe Keery. They are working together in the studio for the first time since Keery left the group.

Joe Keery left in 2017, before the band's debut album When I Think of You in a Castle, to focus on acting. However, reports suggest that he remained friends with his former bandmates. The rest of the band continued to record and tour. They released Love Gibberish in 2022.
