Sonata Arctica 2025 North American tour: Ticket info, dates, venues, and more explored

Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica is officially heading back to North America in 2025 with a series of newly announced performances both as headliners and special guests.

The band is currently set to support Symphony X on a multi-city tour, which will officially begin in early September 2025. This will be followed by their own set of headline shows starting later that month.

The tour is in support of Sonata Arctica's 2024 album Clear Cold Beyond. The project is a return to their classic power metal roots. For fans across the U.S. and Canada, this will be their first opportunity in years to catch the band live.

The trek will feature Powerglove as the supporting act across all headline dates. Tickets are currently available via the band's official website.

Sonata Arctica initially announced the North American trek via an official Instagram post, captioning:

"Sonata Arctica 'Clear Cold Beyond' World Tour North American headline shows announced! Special guest: @powergloveofficial. VIP Meet&Greet upgrade packages will be available for these shows so stay tuned! Tickets and all tour dates: www.sonataarctica.info/tour"

Sonata Arctica was formed in Kemi, Finland, in 1996. The band released their debut album Ecliptica in 1999. Over the past three decades, the band has released eleven studio albums.

Sonata Arctica's North American 2025 tour is split into two legs:

• Support Tour with Symphony X (September 4 – 29, 2025)
• Headline Tour (September 29 – October 5, 2025)

The band will first join Symphony X for 18 shows across the U.S. and Canada. After wrapping up that run, they will kick off their five-date headline tour with Powerglove.
