The Beths 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

New Zealand-based indie-rock group The Beths have officially announced their return to Australia in April 2026 for a run of headline shows. It follows the release of their new album, Straight Line Was A Lie.

The newly announced five-date tour will take The Beths through Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. This will be their first visit back to the country since a sold-out 2025 run. The upcoming Australian leg is part of a larger world tour that is set to span Europe, the UK, North America, and Australasia. The shows will feature songs from the band's latest record.

The Beths shared the 2026 AU tour announcement via an official Instagram post, which read:

"Australia we are coming in April! We are going to be so good at these songs by then i hope. Can't wait to play them for you. Drop a 🦘 in the comments to be notified when pre-sales go live on Thu 4 Sep at 9.00 AM local."

The Beths were formed in Auckland. The band is fronted by Elizabeth Stokes (vocals, guitar) alongside Jonathan Pearce (guitar), Benjamin Sinclair (bass), and Tristan Deck (drums). Their debut album was Future Me Hates Me (2018). Their follow-up albums include Jump Rope Gazers (2020) and 2022's Expert in a Dying Field. Straight Line Was A Lie was released in August 2025 via ANTI-. It is The Beths' fourth studio album.

The Beths penned an Instagram post while dropping their latest album. It read:

"Our new album 'Straight Line Was A Lie' is out today.
