The Lemonheads 2025 world tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

After nearly two decades without a full album, The Lemonheads are officially making a return. The band has announced a 2025 world tour to support Love Chant, their first LP of new songs since 2006.

The record is officially scheduled to be released on October 24, 2025, via Fire Records. It comes paired with an expansive international tour. The tour will span the UK and North America.

Fans will get a chance to listen to The Lemonheads' new music live starting in August 2025, when they will begin a series of UK and European performances. The North American leg is set to kick off on November 11, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama. It will run through December 20, 2025, ending in Nashville, Tennessee. Along the way, the 2025 Lemonheads tour will include stops in multiple cities, including New York, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, and Los Angeles.

The Lemonheads shared the LP and trek announcement via their official Instagram profile. The post read:

"The Lemonheads return with 'Love Chant' (out via @fire_records on October 24th), the first album of original material in nearly two decades. Listen to the second single 'In The Margin', a classic Dando composition: half-broken, half-beautiful, wrapped around a melody that disarms before it detonates."

The post continued:

"'Love Chant' is out 24th October. Available in Classic Black Vinyl, White Vinyl, Yellow Vinyl, Blue Vinyl (@roughtrade Exclusive), Picture Disc (Fire Webshop + Bandcamp exclusive - pictured) and CD. Extensive US Tour just announced through November and December 2025. Tickets & more info soon."

It also contained a statement from The Lemonheads frontman Evan Dando, which is as follows:

"I wanted to have a riffy song, so I wrote riffs all over it. The body of the song was Marciana's (Marciana Jones). It’s like a full-on 8th grade girl revenge song: 'Stupidly I left the escape plans out so they could find my way.' It could be about avoiding anything!"

The newly announced 2025 Lemonheads tour is expected to mark a new chapter for the alternative rock veteran. The Lemonheads mainly rose to fame in the early '90s with albums like It's a Shame About Ray and Come On Feel the Lemonheads. Now, Love Chant is going to be their latest project.
