Thundercat 2025 North American tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Five years after releasing It Is What It Is, Thundercat is officially returning to the road for a new headlining run across North America.

The Grammy-winning bassist, vocalist, and producer has announced a fall 2025 tour. It will kick off in mid-October and run through mid-November 2025. Following summer performances in South America and select festivals, the newly announced fall leg will hit multiple U.S. and Canadian cities, including Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and Toronto, before wrapping in Denver.

Notably, there is no official word yet on an upcoming Thundercat album. However, fans have been treated to some collaborations and appearances in recent years. These include teaming up with Tame Impala on "No More Lies" and appearing in Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett. He also performed on Yo Gabba Gabba.

Thundercat announced the upcoming 2025 tour via an official Instagram post, which read:

"High key I'm getting cooked rn chat - Tour 2025. Artist pre-sale goes live tomorrow 10 am local, sign up at theamazingthundercat.com/tour. General on-sale friday 10 am local."

The 2025 tour also includes appearances at key music festivals, including Outside Lands in San Francisco, III Points in Miami, and Telluride Festival in Colorado.

Thundercat was born Stephen Bruner. His breakout came with Drunk in 2017, followed by the critically acclaimed It Is What It Is in 2020, which won a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album. This upcoming run is going to be one of his most expansive tours in recent years.
