Grammy-nominated Toronto-born singer-songwriter JP Saxe has officially canceled his planned 2025 tour. The tour was organized to support his two-part album "Make Yourself at Home." It was initially scheduled to start in September 2025 and include over two dozen cities across North and South America. However, JP Saxe took to TikTok last week to share that the tour was at risk due to low ticket sales. Despite a last-minute boost from fans, Saxe confirmed that it wasn’t enough to save the tour. All dates are now canceled, and full refunds will be provided to ticket holders. If I don't sell twenty or so thousand tickets to my tour in the next 48 hours, it's going to be canceled."JP Saxe wrote in a guest column for Variety:"The suggestion was: take the L, try again next year. What you are not supposed to say is: I didn't sell enough tickets. If we are just not in a place yet to sell out these two- or three-thousand-cap venues, that's fine."He added:"It has always been my goal to connect deeply, not widely and I stand by that. I'm scared I'm only ever as successful as I'm perceived to be. But how much of that is just… lying? I hate lying. I would rather just share too much and hope something more honest takes shape."JP Saxe first gained fame in 2019 with the duet 'If the World Was Ending,' a collaboration with Julia Michaels. His most recent project is 'Make Yourself at Home.' The now-canceled tour included dates across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America.
