Wombo 2025 tour: Ticket info, dates, venues, and more explored

Louisville-based post-punk trio Wombo are officially hitting the road this fall for a relatively extensive tour across North America, the UK, and Europe. This trek is designed to support their upcoming third studio album, Danger in Fives. The new record is set for release on August 8, 2025, via Fire Talk Records.

The newly announced tour will kick off with a special album release show in Wombo's hometown. Following that, the band will embark on over 30 shows across both continents. They will perform at intimate clubs, indie venues, and festivals through late November 2025.

The North American leg of Wombo's 2025 run will begin on Monday, September 8, 2025, in Washington, D.C. It will continue through several cities, including Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles, before concluding in Kansas City on October 24, 2025. Wombo will then travel overseas, starting in Edinburgh, UK, on November 2, 2025, with concerts scheduled in cities such as London, Paris, Berlin, and Budapest.

Wombo has recently launched a new single, "Neon Bog," from their upcoming album and made an official Instagram post to share the track. The post read:

"Here is the music video for Neon Bog @cameronpotterandthesorcerersst directed and filmed it. The set was built by him as well with help from me (Syd) in my garage. We are also thankful for help from @sleeepyanderson @fallonfrierson_ and @lila.render on this one, our dream team 🌀🌀🌀"

The post continued:

"The cat puppet came in the mail with an interesting backstory from a folktale about a farmer and his wife who couldnt have children so he widdled from wood, a cat as a gift for her. She began to feed it and it grew fur and started to talk and began eating everything, eventually the farm animals, the world, and then finally the sun causing him to grow to an enormous size and then explode. He shrank back down to normal size (but with a round belly), everything was restored, and the cat known as "Little" became a normal house cat."
