Charlie Puth recently made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During his interview, the Grammy-nominated singer mixed Fallon's vocals to demonstrate how he created his new song "Changes."

The fact that Charlie Puth mixed the vocals live impressed fans, with one person comparing him to Dr. Doofenshmirtz from "Phineas and Ferb," indicating much like the fictional character known for his scientific genius, Charlie Puth can also create a song out of nothing. They wrote:

"Real-life Dr. Doofenshmirtz of music....bro still doesn't get enough credit for his musical genius..."

Charlie Puth and his wife, Brooke Sansone, met when they were children, but did not start dating until 2022. The couple tied the knot in September 2024, and earlier this month, they announced that they were expecting their first child. On October 17, the "We Don't Talk Anymore" singer released the music video for his single, "Changes," where his wife makes an appearance, showing off her baby bump.

More about Charlie Puth's appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as fans react in excitement to him mixing music live during the interview

During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Charlie Puth spoke about his upcoming journey into fatherhood. In the interview, he explained that although he was not going to reveal the gender of the baby, he hoped his child would love music, as it is the only thing he knows best. He said:

"I'm gonna be a dad. I was told not to reveal the gender. I hope baby likes music because it's the only thing I'm good at."

He further highlighted how he plans to raise his child surrounded by music, saying:

"I feel like I'm going to do what my mom did for me. My mom used to put the headphones — it was the '90s, so the headphones were big — just put them on her tummy. I think I listened to James Taylor and Luther Vandross, and I got a wide array of music. So I'll do the same thing, whether Brooke likes it or not."

During the interview, Charlie also sat down with his laptop, much to the delight of Jimmy Fallon and the audience, where he mixed some vocals sung by Fallon, adding beats to demonstrate how he developed his new lead single "Changes."

This fan added:

"Charlie makes production look like wizardry 😭 dude really hears music in HD."

This person wrote:

"charlie really be hearing frequencies the rest of us can’t 💀."

Another person wrote:

"It’s actually amazing to see someone cook this hard doing something extremely complex but making it look easy 😭"

Another added:

"Charlie is like our Willy Wonka of pop, love watching his process!"
"his child is gonna be a music nerd cuz of him." said another.

Charlie Puth is now gearing up for the release of his fourth studio album titled "Whatever's Clever", which is set to be released in March next year.
