While he did not feel any pain because of being controlled by Godolkin, Doug is feeling the pain in his bones because he is finally free from Thomas Godolkin's control. He wants to see if he can control one Project Odessa baby, and if he can do so, then he can control the other one, i.e., Homelander.Sage is shocked by this revelation and tries to convince him to stick to their plan. Thus, Marie finally kills the scientist, bringing an end to his short reign of terror.After killing Godolkin, Polarity advises the gang to be on the run.
