And the two have an unpleasant reunion.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4 puts spotlight on Teddy and Cass’s new relationship

In the previous episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 22, we saw Teddy and Cass getting together. They decide to carpool to work. Link is finally being discharged, as Owen is helping him out. As they leave the hospital premises, they bump into Teddy and Cass, leading to an awkward encounter. Link gets wind of the tension between the former couple. Both Link and Owen are left wondering about Teddy and Cass.

Meanwhile, in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22, Episode 4, Meredith discusses work schedules with Weber, who expresses gratitude for having her back. She is suddenly distracted when she gets a message.

Simone offers for Jules to move in with her after she learns that her roommate is engaged. However, Jules declines. Later in the episode, Simone will even ask Blue as to why Jules is reluctant to live with her. Blue suggests that it could be because they are not close enough. But Simone is not buying it.

ED gets an unusual case in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4

In the emergency room, the team receives two young boys who have sustained injuries after an equestrian accident. But here is the plot twist: they are not technically ‘horse riders’. They were riding fake horse toys as they were preparing for a championship. While one boy has a head wound, the other boy, who appeared normal, suddenly collapses after complaining of chest pains.

Last we saw in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 3, Blue met the new plastics fellow Mohanty, with whom he started on the wrong foot. The strain between the two continues. Enter Jackson, who is at the hospital for surgery. Mohanty is informed that she won’t be part of the surgery, but Blue and the others are. The team meets a firefighter trainer, who needs breast reconstruction.

In the meantime, Meredith learns about Koracick’s paper on Alzheimer’s. His research only involved male mice and not female mice, on whom the antibiotic treatment is not effective. Meredith had done the research and knew that his published research could be hazardous. Later in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4, Meredith takes the issue to Jackson, who, in turn, shows his dismay towards her. He says that instead of being here, she should have been working at the lab.

Ben and Blue are discussing the upcoming surgery and realize that the patient has a hernia, which requires a general surgeon. Jackson has no choice but to ask for Meredith’s help. Despite her earlier clash with him, she agrees to help see the scans.

However, Bailey insists that she shares the news with her mother.

Bailey will ask Lucas to look into the clinical trials. Although Katie is unhappy with Lucas doing the research, her trust in Bailey leads her to accept the situation. Katie’s condition worsens when she develops a blood clot in her leg.

Katie will need surgery to treat the blood clot. She reveals that she has hardly told anyone about where she is. She suddenly realizes that she wanted to do so much more, but her situation may hinder her from achieving those dreams.

Link is back at work in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4

The young boy, who collapsed, has the attention of the whole ER. He still seems to be in a hurry to go back to his competition, despite appearing weak. Link is back at the hospital in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4, though he is supposed to be in recovery. Link gives his opinion about the condition, as he had previously worked with athletes.

And if bumping into Owen and Link earlier in the episode was not awkward enough, Teddy comes face-to-face with Nora, who is her new patient. Nora was at the hospital after experiencing chest pain.

The reconstruction surgery will have to wait as Meredith will need to perform the hernia surgery first. The patient is not happy to learn that, but they make her aware that this was the best possible option for her.

In Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4, the team deduces that Owen's patient has broken ribs. The team is still skeptical about his ‘horse riding profession,’ but Owen insists that they address the issue instead of passing comments.

Teddy keeps it professional in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4

Teddy is an absolute professional as she does not let her personal feelings affect her work in Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4. Nora is undergoing an MRI when Cass comes in. She does not divulge the information about Owen and Nora’s affair. But all is good with Nora, as her chest pain was caused by indigestion. The two bond over their relationships, and Teddy shares about her divorce from Owen. Nora blames herself, but Teddy is more empathetic.

Mohanty is observing the surgery when Blue decides to leave, allowing her to step in. The surgery, however, has encountered a setback, forcing the team to race against time to resolve the issue as soon as possible. But thankfully, the surgery was a success.

At the end of Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 4, Meredith tells Jackson that she's returning to Boston to work on her research. Meanwhile, the young boy learns that, although he's doing well, he can no longer continue with his horse riding hobby.

After being part of Katie’s case, Lucas realizes that he wants to gain experience in clinical oncology. And finally, Simone confronts Jules and asks her the reason for not wanting to be her roommate. Jules reveals that she needs multiple alarms to wake up and has had several issues with roommates in the past. Jules does not want the same with Simone.

Teddy decides to confess to Cass about her life, who is nothing but understanding. Owen will share his regrets with Link for his outburst and later meets Nora, with whom he goes for dinner.
