Study Group Season 2 has officially been confirmed, and fans are wondering if they will see Hang Min-hyun back on screens. The actor portrayed the main character, Yoon Ga-min, who is a high-schooler with a natural talent for beating everyone up.

Despite this, Gam-min dreams of becoming the top student and accomplishing everything university study has to offer. This becomes difficult, however, as he is enrolled in one of the country's worst schools, which is predominantly chaotic and has undisciplined students.

Gam-min does not give up and does not even plan to use his fighting skills, but intends to do well academically and form a study group with his classmates. They follow through with the group and succeed, but have to face difficulties.

The K-drama has been well-received by fans, and that's why everyone's curious to know if Hang Min-hyun is returning in his leading role. Early reports suggested that the actor is planning to start filming for Study Group Season 2 next year.

However, it has been recently reported that Hang's agency, Pledis Entertainment, said that they're still discussing the details. Hang Min-hyun will complete his service soon and return in December 2025.

The K-drama is led by Hang Min-hyun, the actor who's currently serving in the military. The good news is that Hang will return in December 2025, which gives him the opportunity to return for Season 2 of the K-drama.

However, Pledis Entertainment recently shared that they are still discussing Study Group Season 2. Once everything is finalized, fans can look forward to getting every answer they're seeking about the actor's anticipated return to the chaotic school in Korea.

Looking back at Study Group Season 1 finale and how it makes room for the next chapter

Episode 10 of Season 1 begins with the group agreeing that Pi Han-ul must be sent to the disciplinary committee. However, this also means that it could get Ga-min in trouble.

Still, Ga-min decides to fight and stand up for his friends and justice. They've endured enough and have been bullied before, but Ga-min's determination to stop this brings him victory. The team plans to save Ms. Lee until the hearing of the disciplinary committee, but Han-ul ensures to create trouble.

His evil plans continue, and by the end of the series, Ga-min finally uses his power. He defeats Han-ul in a fight and later makes him pay for being the bully in Yusung Technical High.

The group becomes more powerful and united. Even the school stops turning a blind eye towards the problems and ensures that Han-ul is punished. But before the episode wraps up, Ga-min teases his and his friends' college entrance journey.

This suggests that Study Group Season 2 can move forward with the high schoolers preparing for college entrance. It will be interesting to see if the group manages to stay connected and enroll in the university they want.
