In the previous episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27, one of SVU's own, Amanda Rollins, returned to the squad. In the latest episode of the procedural series, Rollins was seen on the field investigating their new case, looking for a victim who was allegedly kidnapped by her r*pist.

Other than seeing Benson and Rollins back together, fans were surprised to see a new partnership forming between Rollins and Captain Renee Curry. They were put to work together on the case, and while solving the twists and turns, the duo seemed comfortable with each other, hinting at a new and entertaining partnership in the SVU squad in the coming episodes.

Rollins has just come back after leading a squad, and Curry is known for her work in internal affairs. They are both now the newest powerful duo of the SVU squad.

More on this in our story.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27 - Rollins and Curry work in the latest case together

Rollins (Kelli Giddish) joined the team back in the previous episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27. In the latest episode, she began working in the field on a new case. They were looking for a victim named Natalie, who was allegedly kidnapped by her r*pist.

Rollins met Curry (Aimé Donna Kelly) while investigating the case and gathering more information about the victim. She was informed by another officer who warned her about Curry being a 'rat.' However, Rollins dismissed the officer, telling him she had worked with Curry before and that she was one of the good ones.

Unlike Rollins, Curry's reputation is not good among her colleagues due to her former position leading investigations into NYPD officers for corruption. However, this did not stop Rollins from befriending her SVU squad member.

As the case progressed, the team learned that their victim was actually the predator, who had assaulted almost 30 of her doulas. Rollins and Curry's teamwork shone throughout the case, resulting in the emergence of a powerful duo worth focusing on in the upcoming episodes.

After witnessing their powerful performances in the latest episode, fans can expect a strong and compelling partnership between the two.
